Join the PAC email list
SIMS PAC keeps a web-based list for distributing information to parents by email. Joining the list is simple. You send an email to:
sims-pac@googlegroups.com and the moderator (currently Holly MacDonald) will add your name to the list. You should send the email from an email address that you want to receive the email. The next time there is PAC news sent out, you will receive an email from Holly. We’ve kept the list moderated so that we don’t become inundated by email (for example, if a notice about PAC meeting is sent and everyone who could/couldn’t attend responded to the whole group, we would end up with a bunch of emails that aren’t really useful).
You do not have to have a “gmail” account if you simply want to receive updates in your inbox. If you do want to join the full group online, you have that option as well. We keep minutes from past meetings and other documents online for ease of reference and to ensure that PAC information is accessible to all members and not kept on one individual’s computer.
